Gene Cook Supports, LLC is a locally owned and operated provider of home and community-based services in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Sharing in the vision of Pennsylvania’s Office of Developmental Programs, our support systems assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. We provide the services and support individuals need to make real life choices regarding working, choosing social activities, and living a quality life at home and in the community.

Who We Are

Gene Cook Supports, LLC is a locally owned and operated provider of waiver-funded home and community-based services in Allegheny, Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties. Our services are offered face-to-face in the home and community to support individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities.

Our Executive and Administrative staff possess nearly 200 years of combined work with individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities.

Through our support, individuals learn, maintain, and improve skills via participation in a variety of everyday life activities. Gene Cook Supports utilizes skilled staff, creative thinking, and community resources to help individuals learn the skills necessary to live in the community in an independent, productive, and participatory manner. We take pride in helping others work towards their individual goals and aspirations.

Our services consist of support in the areas of self-care, communication, fine & gross motor skills, mobility, personal adjustment, relationship development, socialization, therapeutic activities, and use of community resources.
